No specialist skills are required to use the Bodystat
products, which is one reason why their products are so popular
and used in various health, fitness, and clinical settings. To
perform a test, the subject is asked to lie down (supine
position) and two disposable electrodes are placed on the right
hand and two on the right foot. The crocodile/alligator clips
are attached to the exposed tabs on the electrodes. Once the
appropriate data of gender, height, weight and age are keyed
into the device, the enter key is pressed and within seconds the
comprehensive personal body composition statistical analysis is
displayed on the LCD screen.
The Bodystat units store the 100 most recent tests, which may
also be downloaded to a computer, if the optional Bodystat
software is utilized. The subject test data may be used to
generate impressive summary and trend reports, through the
Bodystat Wellness or Body Manager Software Programs. All
software data may be saved and exported to PDF to allow the user to create customized reports.
